December 19th, 2016

My travels through North Carolina and South Carolina and Georgia are nearly complete; we are heading home now to enjoy the Christmas Holiday.

I have truly enjoyed my travels the last six months. My meetings with each of you have left a lasting impression on me. Your passion for this industry and your faith and support of Bail USA leaves me speechless, thank you for your friendship and your business. My hope for each of you is that someday you will have the opportunity to travel through the backroads of this incredible county and enjoy the majestic sites of the country we live in.

2016 has been a difficult year for the bail industry. The criminal justice division may need reform, but surety bail works, we are the only accountable pretrial release system. We need to be a part of the solution by educating our communities about what we do for the community. With this is mind as we move into 2017 let’s stay positive and remember we can only make a difference one day at a time. Continue to run your business with professionalism, transparency and responsibility. In every situation look for the positive energy, look for the good in everything, and do what’s right. If everyone follows these simple rules 2017 will be a great year. I am not saying there will not be obstacles we need to overcome, there will be, but I am saying together we can overcome. Love always wins the day.

In closing I share a quote for you to remember as we move forward into 2017. Elizabeth Kubler- Ross stated, “The ultimate lesson all of us have to learn is unconditional love, which includes not only others but ourselves as well”.

I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.
