It is once again time for news about the 2009 convention site. Some of the choices were: Chattanooga, TN, Long Beach, CA, Colorado Springs, CO and Minneapolis, MN. I joked with you that this year’s convention would be at a local Super 8 Hotel as I could not even come close to matching, let alone superseding the accommodations of San Antonio, Texas and our 2008 convention.

But then my travels took me to Orlando, Florida and I stayed at the Rosen Centre Hotel. I was impressed! I even had a chance to meet the owner and listen to his inspirational success story. The Hotel is adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center just 12 minutes from the Orlando International Airport. You will enjoy easy proximity to all the theme park attractions, golf and shopping. The hotel offers a great fitness center and spa.

The best news I have to share with you about this beautiful hotel is a room rate of $105.00 per night; the normal rate is $225.00 per night! So let’s meet in Orlando, relax and become a kid again in this magical environment.

This year will be remembered throughout history for the turbulent economical times we are living in. We are all concerned about our industry. So plan ahead, you deserve to give yourself time to socialize and relax with your family and friends in this beautiful mystical town. This hotel truly has everything, two beautiful restaurants, and several bars to meet your friends for a little socializing. There’s relaxing pool, comfortable rooms and for those who are awake in the middle of the night and need a little something to snack on – a 24 hour deli and mini mart! In the lobby you can make your arrangements to go to a theme park, golf or even rent a car.
